Anchoas Revilla
We want to share with you the enthusiasm with which in January 2013 and in order to recover the family and artisanal tradition we began to make M. A. REVILLA® salted Cantabrian Anchovies.
Our Cantabrian anchovies belong to the species Engraulis Encrasicolus, captured in the fishing grounds of the Cantabrian Sea during the spring coastal season. They are the tastiest and most sought after on the market.
After capture, cleaning and maturation in salting (between 10 and 15 months), they are handcrafted with the highest quality raw materials in our factory in Santoña (Cantabria). Our brand M. A. REVILLA® has the commitment to Don Miguel Ángel Revilla (President of Cantabria) to comply with the following conditions.

“I am proud to promote my land, and its good products, wherever I go. And among them are the Cantabrian Anchovies, which for me and the most demanding gourmets, are the best in the world.

The only conditions that I have set are: that it be a product of the highest quality and that 2% of the profit goes to “La Cocina Económica” in Santander, run by the religious Daughters of Charity, who daily serve many portions of food to the most needy.
